Sorry Please Thank You Stories

Charles Yu's book of short stories is a phenomenal read. Charles Yu is an amazing author who uses his personal experiences, pop culture science fiction and his obsession with metaphysics to communicate to his readers through intricate story lines that have you flipping through each page with excitement. In each short story Charles Yu reveals a piece of his identity that his readers can relate to. My favorite short stories are Hero Absorbs Major Damage, and Adult Contemporary. Hero Absorbs Major Damage is a short story about the life of a character in a Massively Multi-Player Online Game and his gang of misfits and his struggles with self doubt and the meaning of being a true hero. Adult Contemporary is a short story about Murray and his purchase of a particular lifestyle named "The Brad" where he can experience life in all the ways he failed to do as Murray. Check it out on Amazon its an awesome read!

HAIM a band of three sisters from Los Angeles who are making a great deal of noise by collaborating with Kid Cudi in Red Eye a song off of Kid Cudi's third album IndiCud. HAIM is a combination of electric indie rock with a poppy edge that keeps you wanting more. What makes this band legit aside from the catching lyrics and dynamic vocals is the amazing bass of Este Haim. Este Haim gives the band a badass foundation for great songs like Falling, Don't Save Me, and Forever. They have released an EP and several singles but no official album yet. Take a listen and you'll be hooked

What to do on Sunday's

Sunday's are the best days of the week. Why? Because of Peter Dinklage's depiction of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. If you don't have HBO pick up the books they are an amazing read. Game of Thrones is an amazing epic of political struggle between several royal families during a time where humanity must stay together to fight off mythical creatures called White Walkers. That is just the tip of what Game of Thrones is about if you are looking for something addictive to read or to watch look no further you won't regret.

John Dies At The End is a great horror comedy reminiscent of the 1980s The Evil Dead. The story centers behind a college dropout whose gain almost super natural ability to see creatures from other dimensions, thanks to a drug called "The Soy Sauce". This movie is a great drive-in horror movie that latches on and doesn't seem to let go until the closing credits. There are twist and turns in and out of different realities experienced by the main character Mr.Wong. After watching you would definitely consider owning it for your personal collection of Awesomeness. A drug named Soy Sauce which enhances a person's ability to think and rationalize on a level that a mere human can not. What else can you ask for watch it and thank me later!!
